The homeowners at our La Donna Avenue Residence were so kind to send us this photo of the great room with the skylights in their full glory. Isn’t it lovely in this space? ✨
Continued beautiful hard work by CB Builders
At our Hyacinth Lane Residence, the passthrough / peekaboo opening between the living room and kitchen is now in place. You can see the natural light from the back patio streaming through - a sign that the passthrough will help bring natural light into the center of the house. Amarillo Avenue Residence Progress - Part 3: The skylight and clerestory window over the guest bath shower. I have heard some people call this window/skylight detail "The OFA Special".
All the volumes have been enclosed in plywood sheathing.
Amarillo Avenue Residence Progress - Part 1: the framed openings of the first floor have more emphasis with the solidity of the second floor on top.
This one is between the studs, right on the inside face of plywood sheathing. It will eventually get covered up with insulation, but will remain as a beautiful time capsule of how our team figured out the details of a sleeping nook. At our Amarillo Avenue Residence, with Augie Peccei of Coast to Coast Development.
