Construction on our Amarillo Avenue Residence has begun! The first step is to remove the existing home, so we can have an empty plot on which to build the brand new design. We are so excited that the homeowners chose the route of "deconstructing" the home, which meant that a specialized deconstruction crew would carefully remove each material for potential recycling or reuse. It is by far the most earth-friendly way to demolish a home, and as an added bonus, we get amazing skeletal views of the home in the process. More to come on this project!
Today we worked together to build furniture for our expanded office space, to start a new chapter at OFA. Thank you, #ogawafisherarchitects team! We wouldn’t be where we are without all of you.
From the book "Cliff May and the Modern Ranch House", written by Dan Gregory and beautifully photographed by our beloved photograher Joe Fletcher.
The view from the top was quite striking, too.
