And this is just the driveway.
At last week's site meeting for the Amarillo Avenue Residence, it was great to see that the top of the nearby persimmon tree will be framed by the clerestory windows in the master bathroom. The framing stage of construction is always very exciting, because what we've been designing and drawing for so many months finally starts to be real spaces in which we can stand, observe, and study. The site has come a long way since the slab foundation was poured a few months ago.
Calvin and Amy Yao came to photograph our team and our office space, and we couldn't be happier with their final images! Her'es a shot of our recently completed annex, across the hall from our office space. Isn't it sweet?
We will be updating our website and newsletter with more new photos, so stay tuned. Thanks again, Calvin and Amy!
Framing is up at our La Donna Avenue Residence, and you can start to see how the kitchen and living room spaces will feel. The skylights at the top of the vaulted ceiling will wash the wall with warm light, just as they're doing in this photo.
This is a shot of the perimeter foundation at our Amarillo Avenue Residence. The mat slab, which will be the base under our first floor radiant system, will be poured next week. It's nice to see the outline of what will become the house and the garage.
